NextGen is an Indian education ecosystem in the making. Today, that means an AI SaaS suite — eight products across four verticals, one already live. Tomorrow it means a chain of franchise schools, a publication arm, and adjacent ventures we haven’t announced yet.
SaaS today · Academy & Publication next · More to follow
NextGen exists to empower the next generation of thinkers — and to do that across the full arc of how a thinker is made: the doubt resolved at 11pm, the classroom that took her seriously, the textbook she returned to in college, the platform that helped her land her first job.
We’re building that arc one pillar at a time. The SaaS arm is live and shipping — eight AI products across education, exams, talent, and lifestyle, with Synapse already in the hands of students. The Academy and Publication pillars are next. More will follow once each pillar earns the right to be expanded.
Empower the next generation of thinkers — through software today, through schools and books tomorrow, through whatever serves them best after that.
We open one pillar, ship inside it, and only then open the next. Each pillar reinforces the one before — schools need publications, publications need platforms, platforms need classroom feedback.
The same brand mark anchors every step. We open one pillar, ship inside it, and only then open the next.

More SaaS verticals and the next thing the ecosystem needs
Each pillar is a different shape of business — software, schools, books, and what comes next — sharing a single mark and a single standard.
Live & shipping
Eight AI products across four verticals — education, exams, talent, and lifestyle. Synapse is live; the rest are in active development.
Planned · franchise model
A K–12 chain school brand built around the NextGen pedagogy. Franchise-only — we license curriculum, training, and the mark to operators who can meet the standard.
Planned · publishing arm
Textbooks, problem sets, and a periodic journal — first written for our SaaS classrooms and Academy schools, then licensed externally.
Future · adjacent
More SaaS verticals and adjacent businesses the ecosystem needs as it grows. We’ll announce them when they ship — not before.
NextGen is the realisation of a dream Dhananjay Kumar has carried for fourteen years — built one school, one Olympiad, one tribal-region camp at a time. Samarendra Ch. Deb brings the modern AI capabilities, shaped by three decades of public service, that let that dream operate at the scale India needs. Together, they are what AI in Indian education should look like.
FOUNDERFounding vision · Educationist, 14+ years
Educate India — reach every learner, in the most affordable way.
Dhananjay is on a mission to make quality education and data-driven skills accessible to every student, no matter where they come from. With over fourteen years in the education sector — beginning with a residential preparatory centre he opened in Motihari, East Champaran — he has worked closely with students preparing for competitive exams like Sainik School, Navodaya Vidyalayas, RIMC, and RMS. Through this work he came to a simple realisation: talent is everywhere — but guidance is not.
That realisation led him to build platforms and initiatives focused not just on teaching, but on transforming lives through discipline, clarity, and opportunity. Today he runs three schools across Haryana, Rajasthan, and Bihar, organises Olympiads and competitive examinations to build confidence, and for the past seven years has worked in tribal-dominated regions under government-supported initiatives — running educational camps and awareness programs that connect tribal communities to mainstream education. Having mentored hundreds of students, his vision is simple: an ecosystem where education isn't limited by money or background, but driven by passion and equal opportunity. With the right another founder and the right technology, that vision has finally arrived at NextGen — because, as Dhananjay puts it, one right opportunity can change an entire life.
FOUNDERModern AI capabilities · DSP (Retd.), Tripura Police
Reach every Indian faster — with cutting-edge AI, in the most affordable way.
Samarendra served more than four decades in the Tripura Police, rising from Constable to Deputy Superintendent. His career spanned the Special Branch, the CID, and the Tripura State Rifles — work the President's office recognised twice, with the Police Medal for Meritorious Service in 2002 and Distinguished Service in 2013.
Born into a lower-middle-class family and educated at Calcutta University, he chose duty over comfort early. Across decades of policing, what struck him most were the young people he encountered — bright minds in remote districts who had textbooks but no mentorship, ambition but no roadmap. After retirement, he saw in artificial intelligence what he had searched for his entire career: a force multiplier capable of reaching every district, every classroom, every forgotten corner of the country. He joined NextGen to bring those modern AI capabilities to a mission already in motion — one Dhananjay had been building, school by school, for over a decade.
Six convictions that decide what gets built, what doesn’t, and for whom. They predate the product roadmap.
We build AI for the actual end-user — the student in Tripura, the UPSC aspirant, the first-time job seeker, the household planning their first home. If it doesn't help them, we don't ship it.
Enterprise budgets shouldn't be the price of admission to AI. Our products are priced and designed for individuals and small institutions, not for procurement teams.
Synapse is live; the rest of the SaaS suite is in active development. The Academy and Publication pillars open only after the SaaS pillar has earned the right. We'd rather one thing be loved than four be tolerated.
We don't chase benchmarks. The win is whether a Class 10 student gets her doubt resolved at 11pm, or a job seeker gets past an ATS filter — measurable in their lives, not on a leaderboard.
NextGen was founded by a thirty-year career civil servant. The expectation that you are accountable to the people you serve is not a marketing line — it's how every pillar of the brand is run.
Indian syllabi, Indian exams, Indian languages, Indian price points. Global expansion can come later. Solving here, where we live, comes first.
The same four capabilities show up across the SaaS suite today — and will carry into the Academy and Publication pillars when they open. The standard moves with the brand.
